Report from Eldey: Clouds were ruling our skies tonight. The weather forecast was giving us good hope, the magnetic field around us showed a lot of movement and we just needed a blow of luck that made the clouds disappear. As soon as we left the harbour some green lights could be seen, but they were very fainted at first. They tested our patience but suddently they grew quite intense! We could clearly see a green band of green light through the clouds!! We enjoyed it some minutes but sadly it faded away very fast and never came back. As we thought we could offer a better experience to our guest we provided complimentary tickets so that they have another opportunity to witness the northern lights for free, valid for 2 years.
