Report from Eldey and Elding: Gleðileg jól (Merry Christmas)!! With a very good northern light prediction tonight, we were hopeful to have a green christmas as well as a white one. It was a chilly evening as we set off into the wind. Within minutes of leaving the harbour we could see a white line in the sky, we already had northern lights! They continued to change throughout the night, sometimes being stronger and sometimes weaker. They formed an arch through the big dipper. Then towards the end of the tour we started to get really lucky. The lights started to get really bright with many arches and lines up into the sky. It was a chrismas miracle!
