NORTHERN LIGHT CRUISE | 21:00
Report from Eldey: Tonight we were expecting an activity 3 on the Kp index. The sky would be mostly clear and we could see loads of stars! As we sailed out to get rid of the light pollution of the city, our eyes started to get used to the darkness and we saw more stars! The conditions were perfect, now we just needed to wait for the green lady. As the night went by, we started to see a bit of green in the sky. It was very faint, but gave us an idea of where to start looking at! Then, the Northern lights started to get stronger, now seen with our naked eyes. Our cameras did the trick, showing us a beautiful green in the sky. We then started our way home as the lights were starting to fade again slowly.
