NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: We boarded Eldey while it was snowing and completely overcast, but we still wanted to try to look for the northern lights because the weather forecast predicted some gaps in the sky towards the end of the night. While we waited for this to happen, we stopped by the Imagine Peace Tower to admire the powerful blue light beam on Viðey island. After that, we listened to music, had waffles and hot chocolates, and enjoyed drinks with friends and family. It kept snowing throughout the evening and although we were very happy to have a white christmas, that unfortunately also meant that we did not have a ´green´ one. We therefore gave all passengers a complimentary ticket so that they can see the northern lights on another night with us. We are hopeful to share the magical phenomenon tomorrow, when the sky is predicted to look a lot clearer, or anytime within the next two years.
