Report from Eldey : We started the tour under the rain, which is not the best for northern lights. The kp index was at 2, and the sea a bit choppy which sometimes made the boat rocky when we were turning. After a while, heading to the mountain Esja, the sky was darker and we start seeing Northern lights. There were just above the mountain sometimes on the right, sometimes on the left, getting a little bit stronger then fading. It was not easy to see those lights because of the presence of low altitude clouds. When we were heading back we had 1 min of much stronger lights in a quite large area around Esja. We still considered that the lights were to discrete tonight and gave a complimentary ticket to our passengers to have the chance to come back on another Northern Light Cruise.
