Report from Eldey : Tonight, we were blessed with the most amazing notthern lights tour. Already before our departure bright auroras were appearing above us. As we were sailing around the islands, we were spoiled with at least a dozen successive auroras of every shape and in every direction, some of them amazingly bright. We could even see an intense purple color on some of our pictures. The lights kept disappearing to reappear with a different form and intensity, but I don't think the sky remained dark for more than 5 minutes in a row. To end the tour in a perfect way, the brighest beam of lights danced right above our heads just as we were heading back, and even the guide shed a little tear (ssh, don't tell anyone).
What a night, thank you Iceland.
