NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 2100
Report from Eldey: What a night! We set sail into Faxaflói Bay, and while it was a bit windy, the sky was surprisingly clear. The KP index was 4, which is pretty solid for Iceland, so we were all feeling hopeful. We even spotted Jupiter, Mars, and Venus shining bright up there, which was cool. But for the first hour and a half, we didn't see a thing. Honestly, I was starting to think we were going to miss out. Then, out of nowhere, the sky lit up! The Northern Lights came out, and it was absolutely unreal. They were dancing across the sky in bright green waves, and there was even a hint of pink—which is super rare. The whole boat went wild, everyone was cheering and snapping photos. It was definitely one of the best Northern Lights experiences I’ve had this season. Totally worth the wait, it's a night I’ll never forget!
