NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: After a few stormy days, we were happy to be able to go out again on a northern lights cruise. The forecast predicted a kp-index of two out of nine, but the sky was mostly hidden by skies when we sailed away from the city lights. The clouds were forecasted to disappear later in the night, however we had to be very patient for this to happen. While we waited, we enjoyed hot chocolates and even saw a few snowflakes drop onto the deck until a faint band of northern lights appeared at the horizon. We tried to take photos of the aurora, but they were weak tonight so we could not enjoy them as much as we would have liked. To give everyone a chance to see stronger auroras, we gave all our passengers complimentary tickets to join us on another cruise.
