NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey:  Finally the clearest skies we have seen  for a long time, as soon as we left the harbour we could see many star constellations, the planets Mars and Jupiter and even a few shooting stars.  We also enjoyed a much calmer evening, with less wind then we have had for a while too. Northern lights started very much like the night below, a slight green hue to the north just above the horizon, only visible on the camera but as the night continued the aurora became more and more visible even with the naked eye. We were hoping it would get stronger but it stayed a very faint arch until the clouds came over and the heavy rain started. We offered our passengers complimentary tickets to hopefully have better luck next time, maybe the weekend when the activity level is predicted to be a 4/9. Lets cross those fingers.
