Tonight we are expecting an aurora activity of 4/9, S-W 4m/s and 8°C. The moon is in a Waxing Gibbous and 74% illuminated. Partially clouded skies are forecast for the area.

Report from Elding: As the day went on the forecast for Northern lights had changed multiple times, by the time it was evening it was gaps predicted with high activity and a kp of 4. We sailed out to clear skies and just after leaving the harbour could already see faint northern lights! As we got further and further from town they got brighter and brighter until they were even dancing above us! This continued on for the entire tour, sometimes they would grow stronger and we could even see some purple! And sometimes they would calm a little giving us a moment to grab a hot chocolate and return back outside. It was a magical evening.
