Report from Hafsulan: Tonight we had completely clear skies as we headed out of the harbour which set us up with the perfect backdrop for some auroras. As soon as we left the city lights behind us, we saw our first northern lights! They were shining bright over Esja and a long arc was stretching out towards the ocean. For a while, they were very strong and through our phones and cameras we could even see red above the bright green! As we were gazing at the auroras, we also saw a few meteors passing through the sky as well! After some time, the lights began to fade a little but even when they were faint they were still visible to the naked eye for the duration of the tour. Eventually, we had to turn back to port after a wonderful evening.
