NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 2100

Report from Eldey: The forecast tonight was great we had little cloud cover and a good amount of solar activity predicted. This was fortunately the case as we set off we could see many stars. It was a very chilly night though so most people stayed inside to begin with. But, this didn't last long as within 10 minutes as soon as we got away from the light pollution we had a sky full of northern lights! This was amazing to see. There was so much in the sky, filling the bay. The lights started to move and dance with some sections also getting much brighter at times. It was really nice to see. The lights then started to fade a little bit throughout the tour. But we still had a great view of the Imagine Peace Tower, Jupiter, Mars, the Moon and even some fireworks from Reykjavik. As we turned around to head back home a lovely arch formed in the sky of more northern lights. It was a great end to a great night!
