NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Hafsulan: This evening we were quite eager to sail out as the forecast looked quite promising. When we sailed out we saw a bright (nearly) full moon and even a moon halo! These are made by the light refracting from ice crystals in the sky, and not often seen! We did see very faint northern lights but the clouds were shrouding them a fair bit. We sailed on and found a cosy spot near Mt. Esja. Again, very faint aurora shone through the clouds. We kept our eye on the sky but even though there were occasional lights peaking through, everything was a little tricky to see. In the end we handed out complimentary tickets so everyone can try their luck again another night.
