Report from Eldey: Today we were expecting lights with a Kp index of 2, which is already more than enough to see them in Reykjavík. With the clearest skies and many shining stars, we set sail and... Wait. There were already Northern lights in the sky! There it was, the big and green arch right from the very beginning, even before the intro speech. It couldn't get any better than this, we could see a strong red color with it as well, extremely good with only our naked eyes. We continued seeing the lights during the rest of the tour, even when they started to fade a bit, coming and going. It was not only the Northern lights that lit up our evening; on our way home, we passed by the Imagine Peace Tower, as the night was quite stary and beautiful! What a magical evening.
