NORTHERN LIGHT CRUISE | 21:00
Report from Eldey:
We set sail with high hopes of witnessing the Northern Lights. Though the forecast predicted cloudy skies, there was still a good chance for a magical display later that evening. As we sailed into the calm night, we kept our fingers crossed for clearer skies.
Passing by Viðey Island, we were captivated by the Imagine Peace Tower, and shared stories about its inspiring history with our guests. Continuing our journey, we hoped the skies would open up. Unfortunately, the clouds remained thick, so we offered complimentary tickets to our guests, allowing them to explore the area near the harbor.
Just as we approached Reykjavik, the clouds parted, and we were treated to an unforgettable sight—the Northern Lights dancing across the sky in all their glory. Our guests were thrilled to witness this natural spectacle, and it made the night even more special.
We sailed back to Reykjavik, full of joy from this adventurous evening, grateful for the beauty we had shared with our guests. It was a night to remember!
