Report from Eldey: The sky looked set to present us with some action, we could see all the stars visible from Iceland, the waves were calm and now we just wanted aurora. The Kp level of 4 is great for us, so we waited for them to show up. About halfway into the tour, our cameras started to capture two arches on top of Esja so we told everyone to come outside and to point their cameras there. It didn't take much time for the Northern Lights to glow stronger! We could see the greens and on the cameras even showed up reds and purples!! Everybody forgot about the cold and we even sang happy birthday to someone on the boat! They even danced around as we watched in awe the amazing aurora borealis. We returned to the harbour with so many pictures and memorable moments with the Icelandic sky.
