Northern Lights Cruise | 22:00
Report from Eldey: Tonight we were expecting a kp index of 2 with mostly clear skies. We then sailed out hopeful and excited, as we started seeing stars and the sun slowly setting in the distance. The skies cleared out more and more, but towards the end of the tour the clouds started taking over again. With this, we decided to give out complimentary tickets so everyone could get a chance of seeing the lights again in another night!

Few natural phenomena are as mesmerising as the aurora borealis. These shifting curtains of colour sweep across the polar skies, painting them in hues of green, pink, and violet. While their appearance may seem unpredictable, scientists have developed ways to understand when and where they might occur and by studying the activity levels, we can estimate the likelihood of seeing them.
