NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00
Report from Eldey: The kp index tonight was 2 so we were hopeful to have a successful tour on the northern lights cruise because we have seen good auroras during that solar storm activity. That´s why it was worth it to face the cold air of a November night in Iceland. In the beginning of the evening it was even snowing a bit, but the clouds cleared up a bit when we sailed away from the city. Through our cameras we saw the first green glow of the auroras, but the lights were masked by some clouds so it was difficult to see them with our eyes. At some point it was possible to see them for a few minutes, but unfortunately we mainly had to admire the green bands through the lens of our cameras. We therefore decided to give our passengers the chance to come on another complimentary tour to experience stronger northern lights.
