NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00
Report from Eldey: Our tour had something promising but we had to be patient and resilient to see it. There were lots of clouds but there were also some openings that were changing place every time. We could see stars, Jupiter and the big dipper. So we drank a bit more hot chocolate to help our freezing hands while we sailed in safe waters near the islands of Reykjavík. We even heard a whale breath near the harbour!! It was a big surprise since we had not seen any during the day! We kept looking up, and the clouds started to disappear above us and like magic, the Northern Lights started to appear and get bright!! What a sight, right at the end of the tour we had a beautiful arch over the sky that started on Esja and ended in the far ocean. Great success!! We stayed a little bit longer for our dear passengers to be satisfied! Good end of the day!
