Report from Eldey: The evening started as a classic Icelandic winter´s day: snow fell in large flakes onto the deck of Eldey. Although we always love to watch the snow, we were happy that it stopped once we departed from the harbour so that it would hopefully make way for clearer skies. As the night got on, gaps started forming in the clouds and the kp-index increased so we hoped to see the northern lights. Unfortunately though, the night remained dark and we were unable to see the green dancing lights we were hoping for. We therefore offered our passengers complimentary tickets for another night on our Northern Lights Cruise within the next two years.
