Report from Eldey: The conditions were great as we sailed out this evening with clear skies and no moon. We could see the Auroras as soon as we were out of the harbor but they stayed rather faint and diffused for a long while. We remained patient and in the end we were rewarded with a rather brief but beautiful display when an arch of rays extended all across the sky directly over head from east to west. It was then time to head back to harbor after a successful trip.
