NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey and Hafsúlan: For Icelandic standards, this winter night was calm and relatively 'warm'. We had some high clouds above us, but most of them were so thin that we could see the stars through them. Already in the beginning, the northern lights became visible above mount Esja. They danced but only for a few seconds before they disappeared. We had to wait until the last half hour of the tour to see them reappear - and this time they came back stronger and longer! The auroras were moving, the green going in a circle around the boat, sometimes in the shape of a dancing arch, sometimes as streaks, and sometimes in a more 'freestyle' shape :). What an amazing evening!
