Report from Eldey: It was a beautiful night without a cloud. The kp was set on 2 so we were hopeful to have a nice evening. First the northern lights were present but very faded, barely visible for the untrained eye. There was an arch, then a double arch clearly visible on our cameras but still not strong enough to please our eyes. It's towards the end of the tour that our patience was rewarded, nice green colours finally appeared in the sky with some movement and a lovely bright arch of northern lights made our night. This lasted for 10-15 minutes and when it faded we went back to the harbour.
