NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE l 21:00
Report from Eldey: Tonight we were expecting a Kp index of 1-2 and very clear skies. Indeed, there were countless stars above us! Right in the beginning of the tour, we could see a faint line of green Northern lights in the sky above Esja, a beautiful arc that was making us company during the whole tour. The arc then turned into a second one, and then some dashes. It was visible to our naked eyes, although still a bit faint. Around 20 min for the tour to be over, we started slowly coming back to the harbour but we needed to stop because the lights now turned into 3 arches and a beautiful strong corona line above us!! Above Esja, the lights turned way stronger, swirling and taking over a big part of the sky. We then finished coming back to the harbour super happy with this magical night!

Few natural phenomena are as mesmerising as the aurora borealis. These shifting curtains of colour sweep across the polar skies, painting them in hues of green, pink, and violet. While their appearance may seem unpredictable, scientists have developed ways to understand when and where they might occur and by studying the activity levels, we can estimate the likelihood of seeing them.
