NORTHERN LIGHT CRUISE | 21:00
Report from Eldey: We headed out with a good forecast of Northern Lights, but the Green Lady had other plans with us this night. Unfortunately she was very shy, so the only thing we saw was stars and planet Venus. Which was nice, because it is still very bright and you could still see it through the thin layer of clouds. So once the tour came to an end, we had to give out complimentary tickets to our patient guests.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: The afternoon started with strong winds from east but luckily we were able to use land as protection and enjoyed a smooth sailing all the way to Hafnarfjordur were we spent the previous morning tour. As we got closer we started to see blows in the distance and a large group of Northern gannets diving around hinted that something extraordinary was happening. Soon, we spotted 3 humpback whales! We could recognise one of them, it was Pongo! The whales were lunge feeding multiple times around us really close to shore!! As the gannets swooped down almost within arm’s reach, the whales swam just as gracefully beneath us. After an hour of watching this incredible display, we had to start heading back to Reykjavík, with another hour of travel ahead of us to end our day.
