NORTHERN LIGHT CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: We set off with a clear sky and calm seas. It was also a bit warmer than earlier in the day which was very welcome. We were the only tour to go out tonight due to a questionable forecast, but this is often wrong due to the weather in Iceland always changing quickly. So of course we had to go in search of northern lights. Within 15 minutes of setting off we were rewarded the lights were bright in the sky. The northern lights just kept getting better and better throughout the night. New lines would form and these would continue to get brighter too. We also had an amazing view of many many stars! It was a great night to be out at sea. Beyond 10pm the lights got amazing. They were so bright and even started to dance a little bit. The white we could see before had become a bright green and the pictures we took looked amazing. We could even see the lights the whole way back into the harbour.
