Report from Eldey: tonight we were expecting a Kp index of 3 out of 9, a very good number if we consider that Iceland is located at a very high latitude! It was a very mild evening, no wind and not cold at all for this time of the year. Even if there were some clouds, we could see the stairs between the gaps! We were ver positive about the sighting, but as Northern lights are a completely natural phenomenon, sometimes we do not see them even if all factors are on our favors! We tried our best, but unfortunately we couldn't see any Auroras! We gave out complimentary tickets so the passengers could come again and try to see the lights again! - Rosalinda Cipro
