NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 2100
Report from Eldey and Hafsulan: Having looked at the magnetic field disturbance online and seeing activity before we left the harbour we were very excited about what could happen on this tour. Almost immediately we could see auroras on our cameras. They looked so bright and green. There were two arches. After a few more minutes these were now visible with our naked eye in a huge gap between the clouds. We could also see lots of stars and even Mars! For the next 20 minutes we could see the lights on our cameras. Just above the horizon a large spot of auroras appeared too. Then it started to cloud over, we got a lot of snow which was very cool. As we headed back to Reykjavik the sky lit up. These were the best lights of the night. They were so bright and started to move as well. This was really special to see. It was a fantastic ending to the tour.
