Report from Eldey: With clear skies and a predicted kp-index of three, we were hopeful for tonight's northern lights cruise. A faint arch of green appeared above mount Esja, but the auroras were at first only visible through our cameras. Later in the night, the lights became brighter and we could start seeing the arch with our eyes but the activity did not increase as much as we would have hoped so we gave everyone complimentary tickets to come on another northern lights cruise in the next two years.
