NORTHERN LIGHT CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: The night started with clouds covering the entire sky. Soon though, the clouds cleared up and we could start to see some constellations above us, and eventually even a hint of green through our cameras. Hopeful that the green northern lights would strenghten, we waited patiently but our hope was put on a pause when rain started pouring down for some time. But in classic Icelandic style, next thing we knew the weather changed very abrubtly again - this time for the better. More and more stars started appearing, the faint green light was back, and before we knew it that green patch on our cameras became easily visible to the naked eye. The auroras grew stronger and stronger and were dancing above us in shades of green and pink. They took up all kinds of shapes and painted pictures in the sky that will stay in our memories for a very long time.
