Report from Eldey: This evening the forecast was a partly clouded sky with gaps, that we were hoping to peer through and low activity. Instead what we got were clear skies, with lots of stars and an arch of northern lights that was visible all night! This arch started off fairly faint but kept changing over the course of the evening, sometimes growing stronger and sometimes weaker. This arch was with us all night long, and even at times there were two above each other! We enjoyed the aurora all evening until eventually sailing home, watching the lights of the Hallgrímskirkja church change colours as well!
