Report from Eldey: We set out today under some rain hoping the rain will clear out and let some gaps appear in the clouds. The expected activity though is quite good : 3 out of 9, which is in the best activity to have to see the lights in Iceland. We started our sail, headed toward Videy and Esja, looking toward the North, hopeful. After some time the clouds still did not clear up, however we still spotted a bit of northern light activity behind the clouds only visible though the camera. We then started to head back toward the harbor, still nothing more in sight. As we got closer to the harbor we offered our passengers some complimentary tickets for them to come back and try their luck on another evening.
