The day started with a dramatic sunrise and the sea was calm as a lake and it didn't take long before we found a humpback whale! We also spotted a minke whale, swimming very frantically!
This morning we were greeted by a beautiful sunrise and quite quickly we found a resting humpback whale and then a big minke whale which we managed to spend a good while with. In the afternoon we found the humpback whale from the morning tour within 15 minutes. We got to see it log on the surface and dive a few times before it was time to head back home.

The northern lights were out already as we left the harbour and we were able to enjoy them during the whole tour. Sometimes as bright ribbons above the mountains and sometimes just as fade green haze in the sky, but always amazing.
We had such an amazing start to the day, the moon was still glowing and the sky was orange and pink. We spotted a minke whale within the first 15 minutes and then a humpback whale appeared. This afternoon the skies were clear and we found an elusive minke whale as well as the humpback whale "Banana" in the same spot, still resting from this morning.
