A Souvenir Shop with a Story

Did you know that Elding has a souvenir shop on board Fífill, a retired fishing boat turned visitor centre, permanently moored at the Old Harbour? In the hull, you'll also find a small café with a lovely seating area and a wildlife exhibition to explore either before or after heading out on a tour.

Recently, as a part of our sustainability efforts, we've introduced something new to our collection: a selection of second hand outdoor clothing! This includes genuine Icelandic wool jumpers and brands such as 66°North, Cintamani, Iglo+Indi, Weather Report, Lindex, Timberland, and more. It's a great option if you're looking for warm gear at a good price, or if you suddenly realise you're missing an extra layer before heading out into the bay.

Everyone is welcome to stop by, whether you're joining us at sea or simply wandering around the harbour. The shop is open daily in winter in connection with our tours, as well as all day during the summer.

The idea behind this initiative is simple - to reduce waste and give previously loved items a second chance. It’s a small step, but one that reflects our commitment to thinking outside the box and making more sustainable and environmentally friendly choices wherever possible.

We look forward to welcoming you on board Fífill at the Old Harbour!

Elding's Whale Watching Centre is facilitated on board Fífill, an old fishing vessel permanently placed by the pier. There guests can utilise our complimentary WiFi, sit down with a coffee or light snacks from our on board café, browse through our souvenir shop or check out the wildlife exhibition located below sea level.
