Tour at 17:00

The weather was still the same. And again we sailed quite far out, trying to find the whales. And this time it took us about two hours to find them but finally two Minke Whales of them showed up next to us. The second one was very nice, feeding close to the surface, coming up on the side, so we saw a part of the tail. The whale did that a few times so all our passengers enjoyed the show. On the way back we spotted a small group of Harbour porpoises and later a group of shy White-beaked dolphins. We only saw them from a distance. So all together, very nice, looooooooooooooong tour.

We decided to go further out this time. And we did. After sailing for 90 minutes we spotted the first Minke Whale. It surfaced 3 times before disappearing. But we spotted three more Minke whales and two of them were quite nice to us, came close to the boat and were surfacing many times. Nice long tour.

Report from Hafsúlan: We started our tour with a stop in Lundey to see the Puffins. Some of them were flying around the Island and few sitting on the Island. We also spotted some Black Guillemots, Fulmars and Lesser Black Gulls. After looking at the bird life in Lundey we headed out to see how the whales were doing. They were not showing their best this morning and we only spotted one Minke Whale, it surfaced several times and then it went for a deeper dive and we didn't see it again. We also spotted a really nice pod of Harbour Porpoises, this was a large pod and we were able to see them very well. During the tour we also spotted quite many birds, to mention some we spotted rather many Gannets, Guillemots, Razorbills, some Arctic Skua and Arctic Terns Report from Elding: The weather was very nice but there was a bit of swell from the previous night. It was quite difficult to find the whales today and the only species we could find was a small group of Harbour Porpoises. They came up 3 times before disappearing, so we gave all our passengers complimentary tickets.
