Report from Elding: We went out from Reykjavík again as the sea conditions were still pretty good, even though the wind had picked up a bit and the swell was a little higher. It took a while until we spotted a minke whale. Unfortunately, it was rather shy and only stayed around the boat for a couple of minutes. Since we didn't want to disturb it, we decided to go to the area in which we had seen the harbour porpoises and the minke whale in the morning but they seemed to have left the area. Even though the minke whale had surfaced a few times near our boat, we offered complimentary tickets to our passengers and hope they will come with us on another tour.

Report from Elding: We went out from Reykjavík this morning and encountered two groups of harbour porpoises during the first half of the tour. They didn´t stay around for a long time, so we choose to go to a different area. We had encountered a third group of harbour porpoises that was probably feeding and moved all around the boat, when suddenly a minke whale surfaced nearby. It came up five to six times near our boat, before we couldn´t find it again. However, the harbour porpoises kept feeding all around us and were great to watch in the sun´s glare.
