Tour at 17:00

The sea conditions got a little rougher on this tour and it took us a while before we saw our first whale. It was Harbour Porpoises first which surfaced 8-10 times before disappearing then we headed to where the Gannets were diving and that's where we saw our first Minke Whale which was great. Surfaced many times and sometimes close to the boat. It was the second whale we saw though that was the best as it surfaced just 10-15 meters from our boat and many times too so that everyone to get a great look. Slow to start off with but ended excellently.

Still nice sunshine weather when we headed out this afternoon. Soon when we reached the whale watching area we spotted a Minke Whale which came really close to the boat just 10 meters away from us. The whole tour we spotted about 7 Minke Whales and 4 or 5 we could approach really good. On our way back to the harbour we spotted even a pod of Harbour Porpoises. Really good tour also this afternoon!

We had really nice weather this morning when we headed out to our whale watching area. First Harbour Porpoises crossed our path. We could follow them for a few minutes and they leaped out of the water with big splashes. Short after that we spotted our first Minke whale. The whale came really close to the boat and then it was surface feeding - amazing to see the pinkish belly. Later on we spotted some more Minke Whales all close together in one area. Before we went back to the harbour another Minke Whale was surface feeding and we could see this great show once more. Great tour this morning!
