Tour at 13:00
Report from Eldey: We sailed out, fearing that the condition would be rather choppy since we canceled the morning tour. However, it was actually quite a smooth and quiet sailing, with almost no wind or swell acting against us. The weather was, though, our main enemy during almost all the tour, since we had a lot rain and even a snow storm! But despite this we did manage to have a couple of beautiful encounters. The first one with a pod of 10-12 harbour porpoises. It was really nice to check that this little ones are still behaving really curious in the presence of boats. The second, a really majestic minke whale that swam along us for a good while and even surfaced 30 m away from us. A challenging but beautiful day for whale watching in the Faxa bay.
