Status: RUNNING

We are sailing out from Reykjavik Harbour today. The forecast predicts wind from the east and we could experience swells.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: Today the wind was strong from the north and with that the cold temperatures arrived. It was freezing on the top deck so more or less all passengers used our complimentary flotation suits, that was warm and snug in the wind. Todays tour took us into Hvalfjörður (The whale fjord) in search for cetaceans. It was stunning sailing in the fjord with the surrounding mountains. Even though the name of the fjord gave us high hopes of finding either whales or dolphins we scanned the fjord for a long time but no whales were to be found. We returned to Reykjavík and handed out complimentary tickets so all passengers can return for another whale watching tour with us within the next 2 years.
