Tour at 17:00

The wind had picked up a little bit but we were still able to spot a few Minke whales although they were a bit more tricky to follow than earlier today. We saw a big blow but didn't have time to search for the big whale that made it, unfortunately. Nevertheless, a good tour.

Weather still very good, just a bit windier than this morning. Luckily the whales were still out in Faxaflói bay, still actively feeding. Plenty of Minkes spotted, mainly in the vicinity of flock of birds, composed of Kittiwakes, Puffins and Arctic terns.

Report from Elding:  We had some beautiful weather today and still the sea is this greenish colour! We were able to spot 2 groups of Harbour Porpoises and lots of Minke whales. We even had the chance, a couple of times, to stop the engines and just listen to the marine wildlife, which is always a real treat! :)

Hafsúlan Extremely nice weather this morning. We sailed out first to the feeding ground and we spotted already the first Minke whale. Slowly surfacing quite close to our boat. Then we sailed further out and we ended up in an area where we saw at least 10 more Minkes, feeding close to many flock of birds.
