The seas may be rough, so as always, we have sea sickness tablets available free of charge at our ticket office. Join us by booking online or contact us directly for more information (elding@elding.is / +354 519 5000).

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Elding: The ocean was a bit choppy as we left the harbour this morning, but the south-southeasterly wind wasn’t too hard on us. We started the trip by finding, with only 5 minutes in between, two pods of around 5-6 white-beaked dolphins. Unfortunately, they were quite elusive so we weren’t able to follow them for long. We then saw a blow from a humpback whale from far away and went closer, but were not able to locate it. As we were preparing to leave and had already turned around, the humpback popped up just in front of us. We watched it do three surfacing sequences, but it was probably busy feeding – there was a lot of fish in the area! After the humpback whale encounter we went back to Reykjavík, happy.
