Report from Eldey: Sunny and chilly sails for us today. The bay was looking gorgeous, blessed by the sun and the snow. The cruise started with some strong gusts of wind coming from Hvalfjörður, but with the experience of our captain we managed to leave them behind and enjoy most part of the tour with nice winds and sunshine. Along the ride we encountered several seabird species: eider ducks, great northern divers, black guillemots... that they were pointing us the direction in which the food was, so we could sharpen our eyes looking for any whales or dolphins that would cross our way. Unfortunately our efforts were not rewarded with the presence of one of these magnificent animals, and a complementary ticket was issued to everyone willing to come back for one more ride with Elding.
