Today's whale watching tour from Reykjavík is on schedule! Remember to dress according to weather and feel free to borrow our thermal overalls if needed!

Report from Hafsulan: Today we sailed out with the most beautiful sunrise, first heading into the area where the whales were last seen yesterday! We explored that area many times and then when we started heading into the bay, the wind started to pick up. However, we spotted a very nice and predictable group of 12 harbour porpoises, almost surfing with the swell! We then came back to the area close to the islands, and when we were almost giving up and returning to the harbour because we were out of time, we got a message by radio from one of the other boats! Before meeting this boat, we spotted another nice group of 10 harbour porpoises, maybe the same ones we saw before, feeding! We then got to the areas where the other boat was and for our surprise, we had 2 humpback whales swimming side by side, one of them identified as Banana! We also had a harbour seal looking at us very curious and cautious. We saw these whales very slowly swimming on a depth of about 3 meters! On the way back, we got amazed by the most beautiful sunset as we returned home.
