Tour at 13:00
Report from Hafsúlan: We could finally venture out this afternoon after the last days of blustery snow storms. The weather could not make up its mind and it changed constantly from sun shine, hail, snow, sun, snow, hail, dry but cloudy, hail. It was quite amusing just watching the weather change. We saw many birds on our tour, all listed below and the landscape is always beautiful to see and photograph. Unfortunately, there were no whales so we offered our passengers a complimentary ticket, good for two years and a 15% discount at our restaurant MAR. A surprise considering how successful our tours were before the cancellations.
Birds seen on todays tour include: Gannets, fulmars, blue fulmars, kittiwakes, glaucous gulls, iceland gulls, eider ducks, razorbill, common guillemot, black guillemot.
