- CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 9:00, 13:00
Today's whale watching tours from Reykjavík are on schedule! Remember to dress according to weather and feel free to borrow our thermal overalls if needed!
CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Eldey: Today we sailed out around the islands, facing strong winds, choppy seas and a light rain. We got our overalls and hot chocolates and we were ready and excited to find some cetaceans! The islands and mountains were beautifully covered in snow and as sailed, we spotted many seabirds and even a grey seal swimming by! We had rain during most of the tour, but from time to time the sun would come very shy in between the clouds and we would have beautiful rainbows in the sky! We then gave a chance to other areas, always with our eyes sharp, but we couldn't find anything. Therefore, we provided complimentary tickets so the passengers could give it another try later!

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00
Report from Eldey: This afternoon we sailed into the bay searching for some wildlife. We had a bit of swell and some rain but our hopes were still up as the visibility increased a bit since the morning. We search around the islands were our last sightings while we enjoyed our hot cocoas and the snowy mountains. The weather took a turn for the worst and as the tour went on it started o get more rainy. Unfortunately our time was running out some we decided to head back to the harbour and gave out complimentary tickets to everyone onboard to hopefully have better luck next time!
