Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

Report from Eldey: This afternoon was gorgeous with a blue sky and the sun highlighting the mountains. We sailed out on this very calm sea until we spotted a pod of 8-9 white-beaked dolphins. This pod was on the hunt, going after some fish as well as many razorbill in the area. There was even a calf that was probably learning a lot about how to catch some nice fish. We continued and soon saw the blow of a humpback whale. This whale was having long dives and moving a lot but we could still see it diving a couple of times which allowed us to identify Canvas! This humpback whale has one of the most beautiful flukes, with a very clean black outline and all white inside. We were low on time so we had to head back to the harbour looking at the mountains and the pink sky behind.
