CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00
Report from Eldey: We sailed out on a sunny day with direction straight towards the open waters. It didn't take long until we came across our first minke whale. It was a shy individual, it just surfaced twice. But on our tour we had the chance to see more than 10 minke whales so we found some that were really curious about our presence and came to check our boat quite a few times. Later on our tour we spotted a pod of 6 white beaked dolphins that were surfing the waves and jumping around felling as with there nice and playful energy.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00
Report from Eldey: This afternoon we sailed out under grey skies. However, the ocean was calmer than this morning and there was just a weak breeze blowing. Soon after we left the harbour we found a pod of 8 white beaked dolphins. These dolphins were quite interested on us, but they kept their distance. The reason could be because they had 2 beautiful babies that were jumping and playing with the waves from time to time. We left the dolphins and we ended up in an area with a lot of bird activity and 4 minke whales. They were very focused on feeding, like the birds, but we were able to see them every time they went to the surface to breathe. Some of them did it very close to the boat! Right before we were thinking about heading back to the harbour, we found a humpback whale that was also probably feeding. We had no idea where it came from because we didn't spot any blows, but there it was, right next to the boat. This whale was going to the surface just to breathe because it was having lunch with the other whales and birds, but every time it went for a deeper dive we could see its beautiful tail. Happy with this unexpected encounter, we headed back to port.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 17:00
Report from Eldey: What an amazing tour. We sailed out under calm seas and clear skies with direction straight towards the open water. At the beginning of our tour we spotted a pot of 7 white beaked dolphins that were really playful, jumping around close to our boat filling as with excitement for the day ahead. Not long after we came across with a minke whale. We spotted six more minkes until we saw the some blows at the distance and we went trait to investigate. Indeed was not one but 3 humpback whales that made out tour even more special. Fluke dives, rolling and bobble net feeding really close to our boat . A tour that we will remember forever.
