Today we will be operating our Classic Whale Watching on our lovely vessel Hafsúlan at 9:00 and 13:00.

  • CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 9:00, 13:00
  • PREMIUM WHALE TOUR | 10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 15:00

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00

Report from Elding:  We sailed out this morning, with heavy wind from the North, trying our best to find our first cetaceans. Having seeing 1 minke whale from afar, we decided to head back in the bay to hide from the wind and waves. There, we found 2 other minke whales, one of which stayed with us for several moments. This turned out to be a nice experience as all got to see it very well before we headed home.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Report from Elding: After some lovely minke sightings during our morning tour we headed straight to these areas again. It took a while to find them again. As we sailed around we saw many gannets, terns and puffins. Then finally the minke whale showed itself to us at the front. We got to follow it for a while seeing it surface from all sides. It was really easy to follow for most of the sighting. We then carried on and stopped near Lundey to have a close look at some of the very cute puffins. Then as we decided to head back to the harbour the minke appeared again. It saved the best for last as it now surfaced a few time so close to the front of our boat giving us an incredible look. Now, we headed home very happy.
