✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | at 13:00

Report from Eldey: The wind may have been as cold and strong as expected, but thankfully the waves were much less than we had thought. We went out along Kollafjöður and along the Snæfellsness peninsula towards Akraness, searching an area with many feeding birds thoroughly. With no luck there, we sailed across the bay towards Hafnarfjöður through another seabird rich area. Still, our tour turned out to be filled with only sunshine and seabirds, no whales in sight. Thus, we gave out complimentary tickets for all our passengers.

Birds seen today: common guillemot, black guillemot, northern gannet, eider duck, northern fulmar, icelandic gull, cormorant, common shak.

We will be sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík today at 13:00, we are expecting some movement on the boat today. The tour today will most likely end up in Hafnarfjörður, and we will provide transfer back to Reykjavík free of charge, and this should not add much time to the tour.
