The wind was still strong but the swell was not to bad, and together with blue sky and good visibility it only made the day more refreshing. After sailing for about 40-50 minutes we spotted a flock of birds and soon we noticed one Minke Whale there as well, we saw it surface few times and then headed a bit further out where we noticed more birds. In that area there were so many birds, hundreds and hundreds of them feeding together. The Gannets were there diving, Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Guillemots, Razorbills, Black-backed Gulls and few Puffins where there as well and before we knew it we were surrounded by Minke Whales. There were at least 20 of them all around us. A really good day out in Faxaflói.
